Test Results (Blood, X-ray etc.)

To find out the results of tests please telephone 01277 227711 between 11:00 – 15:00. It can take up to 2 weeks for some results to come through. If you are registered for on-line services and you have access to view your medical record you can see and print out your test results, it will inform you if you need to speak or see your doctor.

On contacting the surgery you will be advised whether your test is normal or abnormal and whether it is necessary for you to see or speak to your doctor.

Our receptionists are not clinically trained so please do not ask them for additional information about your result, they will be able to advise you on what the Doctor has recorded and whether you need to come to the surgery or speak to your doctor on the phone, the doctor will have specified whether or not he/she needs to speak/see you earlier than the next available routine appointment, if not you will be offered the next available routine slot.
